We take on small demolition — garages, sheds, decks, fences, interior strip-outs — not multi-storey commercial teardowns. We are straight about that line, because the wrong equipment on a job is how properties get damaged.

The advantage of hiring one outfit for the teardown and the disposal is that nothing sits. A demolition contractor who does not haul leaves you with a pile and a second problem, and that pile is usually the thing that holds up the next trade.

For a demolition, the three things that decide the price are size, what it is built from, and access. A 20 by 22 foot detached garage on a back alley is a straightforward day. The same garage attached to the house, or one with a concrete slab that has to come out too, is a different job.
For bobcat work, it is the material, the distance it has to move and the ground conditions. Frozen ground in a Calgary February behaves very differently from soft ground in May, and it changes what the machine can do in a day.

Demolition of a permanent structure in Calgary generally requires a permit from the City, and any structure with power, gas or water running to it needs those services properly disconnected by the utility before anyone touches it. That is not something a disposal company can do on your behalf.
We will tell you plainly when we think a job needs a permit or a disconnect, and we will not start work on a structure with live services running into it. It is worth checking before you book so the schedule does not slip.

No. Anything involving asbestos — common in Calgary homes built before 1990 — has to go to a licensed abatement contractor before demolition begins. We will not work around it, and we will tell you if we think a structure needs testing first.
