What actually fits in a 10 yard bin

For household clear-outs, a 10 yard bin comfortably takes one to two rooms of general contents. That is a bedroom emptied out, a basement storage room, or a partial garage.
For renovation work, it suits a single bathroom gut, a small deck teardown, a modest amount of flooring, or a shed being cleared and demolished.
For heavy material it is the maximum size you should be filling: a small concrete patio, a section of driveway, a load of dirt from a landscaping dig, or the tile out of one bathroom. In those cases you will reach the weight limit well before the bin looks full, and that is normal.
